Rael

Cycle care brand Rael has entered a strategic partnership with TowerBrook Capital to support product  innovation and expand its global footprint. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2017, Rael offers period care, skincare, and supplements designed around the four phases of the menstrual cycle, inspired by Korean beauty and wellness innovations. Rael’s products are available in 40,000 retail locations nationwide, including CVS, Ulta Beauty, Target, Walmart, and Walgreens, as well as in Korea at Olive Young.

“We started Rael because we believed women deserved better choices in period care, and that belief led us to pioneer holistic cycle care,” said Yanghee Paik, CEO and Co-Founder of Rael. “From our first conversation, TowerBrook understood the impact of our mission and believed in it as deeply as we do.”

The partnership will support retail expansion, product innovation, and global consumer education. Rael has also appointed John Replogle, former CEO of Burt’s Bees and Seventh Generation, as Chair of the Board, where he will support Paik and the leadership team.

“Rael extends TowerBrook’s track record of investing behind products and services that help consumers live healthier lives and builds on the firm’s experience scaling emerging brands through periods of transformational growth,” said Michael Recht, Managing Director at TowerBrook. “Rael’s products have distinct positioning in women’s wellness, and we are excited to build upon the unique trust the brand has developed with consumers.”
