Last week saw quite a bit of activity when it comes to digital therapeutics focused (DTx) on women's health. Below's a quick round-up of the latest and greatest feat. Renovia, HelloBetter, and PINK!.
Renovia, a developer of non-surgical, treatments for female pelvic floor disorders and an advocate for women’s health, announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared its leva Pelvic Health System for the first-line treatment of chronic fecal incontinence (FI) in women.

The German government has added a new prescription digital therapeutic to its DiGA program: PINK! Coach supports breast cancer patients in changing their lifestyle towards more exercise, healthier nutrition and mindfulness in accordance with the current guideline recommendations.

Rock Health's H1 2022 Digital Health Funding Report
U.S.-based digital health venture fund recently released its H1 2022 Digital Health Funding Report and it seems that although this year's numbers may not live up to a record-breaking 2021, digital health is "back on track" and set to still outpace 2020 funding levels.
Unsurprisingly digital mental health still takes the top spot when it comes to digital health funding trends. What is promising to see though is that reproductive and maternal health made the top 5. So in conclusion....
"We don’t find it surprising that H1 2022’s digital health funding numbers align more closely with 2020 rather than 2021’s mega year, and it might be time for us to consider 2021 as the anomaly rather than the norm. For us, historical digital health funding data presents a steady, optimistic view: from 2020 to 2022, the sector has demonstrated sustained gains, even amidst a tougher overall economy. With that in mind, we expect to see funding flow into digital health in H2 2022 at a pace similar to that of H1, leveling out on a fundamentals-driven track."
