Femble, a femtech startup based in Austria, has secured €350,000 in angel funding and announced a strategic pivot from its original menstrual cycle app to a platform that helps doctors become trusted health influencers for their patients.

Founded in November 2020, Femble initially developed a B2C app for menstrual health issues, building a community of over 40,000 women and dozens of doctors. The platform aimed to provide quick, physician-verified information about menstrual pain.
“With femble, we enable doctors to become trusted health influencers for their own patients,” said Co-Founder Lina Graf. She noted that the team is observing “a trend toward exclusive digital communities, and the emergence of generative AI in videos will accelerate this transformation.”
The pivot decision came at the end of 2024 after extensive user feedback. “We had many conversations with users and doctors and understood that health information shouldn’t come from random doctors, but from one’s own,” explained Co-Founder Daniel Steiner.
The new platform aims to combat medical misinformation by providing verified health content through trusted sources. Just two months after the pivot, the startup reports positive response from its community, with particular interest from doctors and clinics in women’s health.
The funding round included several European business angels, and the company plans to expand to the United States in 2025.
