Reprotech, a cryostorage and logistics provider for reproductive specimens, has partnered with EngagedMD, a patient journey management platform used by more than 250 fertility clinics worldwide, to integrate off-site storage consent workflows into EngagedMD’s digital platform.
The integration allows clinics to send and manage Reprotech’s storage and transportation consent forms within the same system they already use for patient education and informed consent – eliminating what has traditionally been a manual, fragmented process. Given EngagedMD’s reach (two-thirds of all fertility patients across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. use its platform according to the company), the partnership effectively gives Reprotech digital consent access across a large number of fertility clinics.
“Off-site storage is a critical extension of the patient journey, yet it has historically required manual coordination and fragmented documentation,” said EngagedMD CEO Jeff Issner.
It’s an infrastructure play rather than a patient-facing product launch, but it reflects a broader trend in fertility care toward digitizing and standardising the operational layers that sit behind clinical treatment.
