Salignostics has launched its saliva-based pregnancy test, PregiCheck SaliStick, at Rossmann stores across Germany. The product is available in stores and online.

Rossmann is one of the largest drugstore chains in Europe with approximately 5,000 branches. SaliStick is a saliva-based pregnancy test that provides results from the first day of a missed period. The test eliminates the need to collect urine samples.

Germany’s self-testing market generated $508 million in 2024, with projections to reach $846 million by 2030, according to analysts. The pregnancy-testing segment accounts for approximately $80 million in Germany.

“Germany is a key market in the expansion of SaliStick, where consumer demand for convenience meets retail scale,” said Dr. Guy Krief, Co-Founder and Deputy CEO of Salignostics.

The test is sold in the UK, Israel, and other European countries. Beyond SaliStick, Salignostics is developing saliva-based tests for Strep A and panels for sexually transmitted and respiratory infections.
