A Note from the Editor

It’s been a difficult week. Many of us, who work in women’s health, knew it was eventually happening, but it is still heartbreaking that Roe v. Wade was officially overturned a week ago. The impact of the ruling is hard to grasp, hard to accept and we are grateful for all of those who have been and continue to tirelessly advocate and fight for abortion as a healthcare right.

At Femtech Insider we will continue our work and do our best to amplify your voices and actions to help ensure reproductive freedom for all. But today we’d like to take a moment to share some words of advice from impact fund Rhia Ventures, that we’ve taken to heart this past week.

“We are collectively in this fight and will continue our work but for now, take care of yourself. Catch your breath. Scream. Walk outside. Hug a loved one. Do what is essential for your mental and emotional wellbeing at this time of anguish and injustice because each and every one of us is needed whole for this journey.”

Thank you for being part of this community and thank you for all you do.
