Mira, a leading hormonal health company, announces the launch of the first Hormone Innovators Awards 2025. As part of Mira’s annual Sex Hormones Awareness Week, this initiative aims to spotlight groundbreaking work, promote awareness of hormonal health challenges, and provide a platform for companies and individuals driving change in the industry.
This year marks 120 years since the discovery of hormones, a breakthrough that transformed medicine. Yet, despite their critical role in health, hormonal innovations remain underfunded and overlooked. Women’s health, long underserved and underfunded, received just 2.3% of VC funding in 2024 compared to general healthcare. The Hormone Innovators Awards honor pioneers pushing the boundaries of science, technology, and advocacy – while fostering industry collaboration, investment, and visibility to accelerate impact and celebrate those rallying around women’s health.
“For far too long, women’s health has been underfunded, undervalued, and underserved. The innovators we’re recognizing are not only advancing groundbreaking science but also reshaping an industry that has historically overlooked half the population. By championing investment and innovation in hormonal health, we can drive lasting change for generations to come,” said Sylvia Kang, CEO and founder of Mira.
