Personal care brand Dove has launched its first ‘Women’s Wellness Range’, targeting perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms through four specialized products developed with gynecologists, menopause experts, and dermatologists. The collection is available exclusively on Amazon’s U.S. store with products starting at $19.99.
The range addresses symptoms including increased sweating, dryness, odor shifts, and intimate sensitivity during hormonal transitions. Research shows 43% of women over 45 actively search for skincare supporting their changing needs, while vulvovaginal dryness affects 70% of women over 50.
The collection includes four products: Dove Glycolic Serum Wash for daily exfoliation and odor control; Dove Cleansing Oil for dry, itchy skin; Dove Whole Body Wash, a fragrance-free cleanser for vulva skin; and Dove Ultra Gentle Balm, a leave-on moisturizer for intimate dryness.
“As an OB/GYN, I have seen so many women in intimate settings and they still feel they need to censor their personal concerns in conversations because for generations, women have been taught to be quiet about discomfort,” said Dr. Jessica Shepherd, OB/GYN and menopause expert who co-created the range.
The launch represents Dove’s expansion from traditional skincare into the women’s wellness category. The brand positions the products as addressing needs that have been overlooked or stigmatized in personal care.
“The Dove Women’s Wellness Range is the latest expression of the brand’s long-standing commitment to real beauty, real care and real conversations,” said Ellen Shepard, Senior Research & Development Director at Unilever. “By leveraging Unilever’s expertise in surfactant science, odor and sweat management and the microbiome, we’re turning women’s needs into advanced, personalized care.”
The products feature proprietary cleansing technology and dermatologist-approved formulations designed for hormonal shifts. The Whole Body Wash maintains natural pH balance for intimate skin, while the Ultra Gentle Balm is clinically tested for daily use on intimate areas.
Dove’s entry into women’s wellness aligns with Amazon Beauty’s condition-based shopping initiative, helping customers select products based on specific symptoms they experience.
