Annabella has announced the launch of its FDA-cleared double breast pump, designed to further elevate the breastfeeding experience. Following the launch of its single pump, which introduced a novel approach to breast milk expression, the double pump now promises to deliver even greater efficiency and comfort for mothers. Clinical studies indicate that Annabella’s pumps allow mothers to express 50% more milk on average compared to traditional pumps.

Annabella’s double pump is engineered to replicate the natural motions of a baby’s mouth, including the wave-like movements of the tongue, palate, and cheeks. This design not only enhances the milk extraction process but also stimulates the release of oxytocin and prolactin—hormones essential for milk production. Made from BPA-free, food-grade silicone, the pump is built with high-quality materials to ensure safety and durability, further solidifying Annabella’s commitment to maternal health.

“The Annabella double pump is not just about increasing milk output; it’s about improving the overall experience for mothers,” said Masha Waldberg, co-founder of Annabella. “Our design mimics the natural breastfeeding process, making it a pain-free, efficient, and enjoyable experience. We are thrilled to bring the double pump to market and continue empowering mothers at every stage of their journey.”

Annabella first gained attention with its patented breast pump, which debuted in Israel and quickly found success in the market. In early 2024, the company secured $8.5 million in seed funding to expand into the U.S. market. This funding round attracted prominent investors, including Yasmin Lukatz of Israel Shark Tank and Menachem Weinfeld of Starry Group. The capital raised was used to develop the next generation of Annabella’s products like the double breast pump, and to establish partnerships with insurance providers to enhance accessibility.
