Feminine hygiene brand Nua has secured $50 million in a Series C round.
Bringing Nua’s total funding to more than $65 million, the round was led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital, with participation from existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures. Previous investors Kae Capital and Lightbox VC took partial exits.
Founded by Ravi Ramachandran and Abhishek Ramanathan, the Mumbai-based company sells products across period care, intimate hygiene, skincare, and maternity through its direct-to-consumer business and retailers including Apollo Pharmacy and Wellness Forever.
With more than 3 million monthly customers across India, Nua has expanded beyond consumer products with its own period tracking app and a community platform SecretKeeper. According to a LinkedIn post from Kae Capital, the company surpassed Rs 500 crore in annual revenue within two years of launching in 2017.
Nua’s latest funding will support product development and continued retail expansion.
