ONTO Health, an AI-enabled, physician-led fertility and longevity provider, has closed a $20 million Series A co-led by healthcare investors ARTIS and Humania. The funding will support expanded clinical operations in the U.S. and expansion into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
ONTO was co-founded by ARTIS and CEO Roohi Jeelani, MD, a double board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist. The platform combines fertility care with AI-driven diagnostics, clinical automation, and longevity science – positioning reproductive care as part of a broader lifelong health journey rather than a single episode of treatment.
“Fertility care has often been too narrowly focused,” said Dr. Jeelani. “We view reproductive care as part of a broader, lifelong health journey rather than a single episode of treatment, and are dedicated to a comprehensive, human-centered approach to both. This includes AI-powered, physician-led clinical programs that are rigorous, collaborative, and patient-centered.”
The GCC expansion comes through Humania, whose vice chairman Makarem S. Batterjee is also founder and president of Saudi German Group, which operates eighteen tertiary hospitals and over 50 outpatient facilities across the Gulf and North Africa. “The integration of AI and automation into fertility care represents a transformative leap, enhancing diagnostics, personalization, and outcomes while making high-quality treatment more accessible for families across the region,” said Batterjee.
The fertility-to-longevity positioning reflects a broader trend across the sector, with multiple companies in recent months expanding from single reproductive health categories into integrated platforms that treat fertility as a window into overall health.
