Femto Technologies (Nasdaq: BCAN) has adapted its proprietary Smart Release System (SRS) technology to address women’s health needs through Sensera, an AI-powered wellness device. The innovation recently earned recognition as a CES 2025 Innovation Award honoree in the AI category.
The company’s journey represents a focused application of advanced technology in women’s health. By combining SRS technology with biofeedback sensors and machine learning capabilities, Femto has created a device designed to adapt to women’s changing needs over time.
“We have been working tirelessly to embed Femto’s state-of-the-art technology in Sensera,” says Yftah Ben Yaackov, CEO of Femto. “This recognition from CES validates our approach to transforming women’s wellness through innovative technology.”
To strengthen their technological offering with medical expertise, Femto has brought on Dr. Alexandra Dubinskaya, a Urogynecologist and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgeon at Cedars Sinai, as Medical Advisor for the Sensera brand. Her research has demonstrated the positive impact of vibrating devices on sexual function and pelvic floor conditions. “Sexual wellness is an essential component of overall well-being,” explains Dr. Dubinskaya. “Sensera is the first sexual wellness product to leverage AI to help users better understand and adjust to these changes, ultimately improving quality of life and intimate experiences.”
The device’s core technology combines Femto’s SRS system with biofeedback sensors that track key body metrics, heart rate, and pelvic floor muscle contractions. This data helps create personalized wellness programs that adapt to individual needs. Made from medical-grade silicone with a Y-shaped ergonomic design, the device features interchangeable pods for different wellness purposes. Users can control their experience through an iOS app, which enables the creation of customized programs and tracks progress over time.
Recognizing the sensitive nature of wellness data, Femto has implemented privacy protocols that give users control over their data sharing preferences. The system includes options for device-only mode and machine learning-only use. The AI capabilities are designed to become more sophisticated as the user base grows, leading to increasingly personalized wellness programs.
Currently in its first stage of development, Sensera is scheduled for pre-order availability in Q1 2025, with shipments expected in early Q2.
