Evvy Secures $40M to Expand Vaginal Microbiome Diagnostics

Evvy

Evvy has secured $40 million in an oversubscribed Series B round led by Catalio Capital Management to expand its precision women’s health platform using vaginal diagnostics.

Founded by Priyanka Jain, Laine Bruzek, and Pita Navarro, Evvy launched with an at-home vaginal microbiome test and telehealth offering. The company has since expanded into new treatments, a clinically validated supplement, and an AI-powered advisor built on its proprietary vaginal microbiome dataset – which it describes as the largest in the world.

With fresh funding, Evvy plans to expand vaginal microbiome diagnostics across areas including fertility, infections, inflammation, PMOS, endometriosis, perimenopause, and HPV progression.

“Evvy is evolving from a vaginal-health testing and care service into a broader platform for women’s health, leveraging Evvy’s unique and novel dataset on the vaginal microbiome,” said Jain. “We’re using that corpus internally to develop and validate biomarker signatures, starting with areas where there is both patient demand and scientific momentum, such as fertility.”

With 96% of patients opting into research, Evvy’s growing dataset is informing the company’s product development and future care pathways.

“The dataset is central to Evvy’s next chapter,” Jain said, noting it has detected bacterial vaginosis subtypes and microbial genomes that were previously unknown. “We want to understand which microbial patterns matter, which interventions are associated with meaningful changes, and where the microbiome can serve as a biomarker for risk or health outcomes.”
