Triplemoon has raised $3.5 million in seed funding led by Activate Venture Partners and LiveOak Ventures.
The company provides virtual mental health services integrated into primary care clinics for pediatric patients and their families, serving both commercially insured and Medicaid populations. The platform offers access to psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers who diagnose and treat conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and oppositional defiant disorder.
The funding will support expansion into priority markets through partnerships with primary care clinics and development of the company’s technology platform. Triplemoon was founded in 2023 by Lauren Gage, a former McKinsey & Company and Goldman Sachs executive.
“Like so many US families, we have experienced how difficult and devastating it can be to go without the mental health resources we need,” said Lauren Gage, founder and CEO of Triplemoon. “Triplemoon grew out of my own lived experience and from listening intently to the families and providers we serve. Triplemoon’s model of care has the potential to fundamentally change the mental health landscape in the US and provide meaningful career opportunities for mental health providers.”
Primary care physicians handle 55% of pediatric mental health triage without adequate resources, according to the company. Triplemoon’s collaborative care model provides diagnosis, behavioral health intervention, care coordination, family education, and medication management.
The company’s clinical program is led by Dr. Katie Sardone, Chief Clinical Officer and Licensed Psychologist, who completed her training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The program uses an attachment-informed philosophy focused on early development and parent-child relationships.
