Canadian clinic network The Fertility Partners has sold its US-based practice, Illume Fertility, to IVI RMA North America for an undisclosed sum.
The Fertility Partners, the largest network of fertility clinics across Canada, will now focus capital, resources, and leadership on nationwide expansion. Meanwhile, IVI RMA, which operates more than 200 locations globally, has acquired Illume’s five offices in New York and Connecticut.
“Illume has built a strong reputation for clinical excellence and genuine compassion for patients,” said Heather Stark, CEO of The Fertility Partners. “For TFP, this is about focus. Our strongest opportunities are here in Canada, and this transaction allows us to put our full attention on building the leading fertility network in the country.”
During the closing process, The Fertility Partners, IVI RMA, and Illume worked to ensure a smooth transition for patients, physicians, employees, and partners.
“We see significant opportunity ahead for TFP and the patients and communities we serve,” added Stark. “We will continue investing in the capabilities, infrastructure, and technology that strengthen access, improve clinical outcomes, and support the long-term evolution of fertility care in Canada.”
