Sollis Health, a concierge medicine provider offering 24/7 access to ER-level diagnostics and capabilities, has introduced a new Family Membership plan. This plan is designed for families with children under 18 and is available across the United States.
The Family Membership provides a year of access to Sollis’ ER-boarded physicians and facilities, either virtually or in medical centers located in New York, the Hamptons, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and South Florida. The plan includes new offerings such as premium allergen testing for children under 18, a complimentary house call, and access to concierge pediatrics for members in Southern California.
Brad Olson, CEO of Sollis Health, stated, “For years, we’ve heard from our parent members that they want to come to Sollis for any issue, emergency or common, so we are eager to provide them with a consistent and reliable healthcare partner 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.”
The company reports that over half of existing Sollis members have children, and nearly 60% have requested a more expansive range of pediatric or preventative care. Beyond that Sollis Health cites several factors motivating this new offering. An Urgent Care industry report from 2023 indicates that over half of all urgent care appointments are referred to the ER, imaging facility, or another clinician. The company also notes increasing child mortality rates in ERs, long ER wait times in urban centers, and extended wait times for pediatric specialist appointments, reaching nearly five months for some specialties according to a Rutgers University report.
