Progyny has announced a partnership with smart ring maker ŌURA to incorporate wearable health data into care team decision-making across the reproductive health journey from preconception to menopause. The collaboration aims to enable earlier risk identification and support health goals including conception optimization and lifestyle changes.
The partnership allows Progyny’s care teams to access continuous health metrics from ŌURA devices, including sleep patterns, cycle insights, cardiovascular health, and stress levels. This data integration supports more proactive healthcare approaches by identifying potential issues upstream before they require clinical intervention.
“The more women understand about their bodies, the more empowered they are to partner with their health providers and articulate their health status and goals,” said Dr. Janet Choi, Progyny Chief Medical Officer. “Taking control with physiologic data from the Oura Ring further supports Progyny’s focus on raising the bar and elevating health outcomes.”
For women trying to conceive, ŌURA insights can help identify fertile windows and support reproductive planning through continuous monitoring rather than periodic clinical assessments. During perimenopause or menopause, the data can reveal patterns that guide lifestyle adjustments and inform provider conversations about hormonal changes and symptom management.
The integration enables Progyny care teams to develop personalized recommendations around sleep, nutrition, movement, and stress management based on objective data rather than subjective reporting. This approach supports the company’s comprehensive care model that spans fertility, family building, and menopause management.
“Reproductive health management starts long before a doctor’s visit—it begins with daily awareness of your body’s patterns,” said Dorothy Kilroy, Chief Commercial Officer at ŌURA. “By partnering with Progyny, we’re bridging the gap between those daily health patterns and clinical care, helping people navigate fertility and family planning with greater clarity, confidence, and support.”
Oura Ring devices and Oura Membership will be available to Progyny clients, including employers and health plans, beginning in early 2026.
The collaboration addresses growing demand for data-driven healthcare approaches that provide continuous insights rather than snapshot assessments during clinical visits. By incorporating real-time physiological data, Progyny aims to enhance its ability to support members throughout their reproductive health journey.
