Holland & Barrett, a leading health and wellness retailer, has acquired women’s health startup Parla for an undisclosed amount. The company shared on LinkedIn:

To achieve our vision and be the trusted partner to millions, helping people achieve their personal health and wellness goals, we’re committed to extending our support beyond retail, offering wellness solutions and services. We recently acquired Parla the first ever-virtual support system to improve women’s mental wellness after pregnancy loss and beyond, founded by Lina Chan. And we’re pleased to now have a Women’s Health series offering free online workshops and guides available for our colleagues to join.

Parla Founder Lina Chan also took to LinkedIn. She shares:

I am beyond excited to share the news that Parla has been acquired by Holland & Barrett. This is a huge step in our mission to improve women’s access to health and wellbeing and normalise the often taboo topics that surround womens health – from infertility, pregnancy loss, our periods and beyond! I’ll share a lot more detail in the coming days about the exciting things we will be building together! But for now.. thank you to Tamara Rajah MBE & the whole team at H&B for believing in us and welcoming us with such open arms!!!

We’ll keep an eye out for furhter details! 👀
