UK-based healthtech company Nayara has secured an undisclosed pre-seed round led by SFC Capital to scale its AI health companion for breast cancer patients and expand into additional conditions.
The company has developed a clinical-grade AI agent that provides medically accurate and emotionally supportive guidance for patients navigating breast cancer. To date, the platform has assisted hundreds of patients, with additional condition-specific models in development for hospitals, health systems, and medtech companies.
An always-on companion, Nayara’s agent supports patients with appointment preparation, medication adherence, appointment retention, equipment onboarding, clinical data collection, and medical anxiety. When medically appropriate, patient concerns are escalated to care teams.
“Technology has transformed what medicine can achieve, but the way we support patients has struggled to keep pace,” said Gal Moore, Co-Founder and CEO of Nayara. “We started Nayara with a simple belief: no patient should feel alone in their healthcare journey. No warning sign should go unaddressed because the clinical team lacked the information, or the time, to act.”
The raise will support Nayara’s product development, clinical validation, and commercial expansion, with a focus on helping patients navigate care between appointments across a broader range of conditions.
