NABTA Health has secured funding from Phoenix Venture Partners – in the second close of its ongoing $3 million pre-Series A – to expand its preventative women’s healthcare platform.
Founded in 2017 by Sophie Smith, the Dubai-based company combines at-home diagnostics, virtual physician visits, and AI-assisted care across fertility, pregnancy, and menopause. Enhancing health outcomes, its AI assistant Aya enables earlier detection and intervention.
Previously sold direct-to-consumer, NABTA’s latest funding will support its commercial offering through partnerships with employers, insurance companies, and healthcare ecosystems. Alongside the raise, Phoenix Venture Partners Founder and CEO Steve Khayat will join NABTA’s board.
“NABTA has done the hard work of building its technology, clinical infrastructure and model, and is already demonstrating strong commercial traction,” said Khayat. “We believe the company is now at an inflection point where the focus can shift decisively toward go-to-market and sales acceleration. Our role at PVP will be to work alongside Sophie and the team to deepen strategic partnerships, accelerate customer acquisition and help translate that traction into scalable growth.”
