Midi Health has launched AgeWell, a longevity program specifically designed for women and covered by insurance nationwide, addressing a significant gap in the $600 billion longevity industry that has traditionally focused on male-centric approaches. The virtual healthcare provider for women in midlife developed AgeWell to provide physician-led, evidence-based care personalized to each woman’s biology, lifestyle, and health goals. The program offers ongoing support from dedicated providers rather than the typical approach of providing test results without guidance.

“We created AgeWell to meet women where they are—with science-backed tools to help them stay strong, avoid chronic illness, and feel like themselves again,” said Joanna Strober, CEO and Founder of Midi Health. “This is about adding life to your years—not just years to your life.”

According to the company, most existing longevity programs are only available in urban areas and often prioritize approaches like intense workout regimens, intermittent fasting, and expensive biohacking rather than evidence-based solutions rooted in women’s hormonal and lifestyle realities.

AgeWell includes comprehensive annual diagnostic visits available in all 50 states, hormone therapy based on individual needs, evidence-based screenings for cancer and chronic conditions, advanced bloodwork with optional genetic testing, and clinical treatments for skin, hair, and weight goals. Each patient receives a personalized longevity plan led by a dedicated clinician with ongoing support throughout the year.

“AgeWell combines cutting-edge science with practical, personalized care to help women optimize their health and feel their best for decades to come,” said Dr. Kathleen Jordan, Chief Medical Officer at Midi Health. “You don’t have to be experiencing perimenopause symptoms to start your longevity journey. With AgeWell, we’re helping women understand their bodies and make empowered choices in their 30s, 40s and 50s, so that they can thrive well into their 60s, 70s and 80s.”

Midi Health trained nearly 400 specialists over six months to deliver this specialized care, creating what the company describes as the largest network of providers in women’s longevity care.

At launch, AgeWell is covered by major insurers including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, and Cigna nationwide, making it accessible beyond the ultra-wealthy demographic typically served by longevity programs.
