Mica AI Medical, an Israeli company offering technology for early breast cancer detection and diagnosis on contrast enhanced mammograms, has raised $3M in funding. Investors in the round include Haim Chizic, Tzachi Arabov, Daniel Koss, BNP VC, Israeli Innovation Authority, and the Ministry of Economy.
Mica AI Medical ‘s system helps radiologists detect breast malignancies while interpreting contrast enhanced mammograms. The system reduces the risk of overdiagnosis and unnecessary biopsies. Developed, tested and validated in partnership with Sheba Hospital, Mica AI Medical’s technology is currently being used at the hospital.
The new funds will be invested in R&D and used to accelerate growth.
