A Successful First Year May Look Like:

  • Lead the development of new features which may include building new React Components to display your gut health in fun and personalized ways!
  • Collaborate with the team to scale the tech stack based on the growing user base.
  • Ownership of a component of the system, or a significant piece of functionality.

  • Healthcare insurance (medical, dental, vision)
  • 401k
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Remote-First Company: While our founder is based in Austin, TX, we have a really diverse and international team from the midwest, east coast, Europe, and South America. As long as you can work within 3 hours from the 9-6pm CST timezone, it doesn’t matter where you live.
  • Tremendous growth opportunity and autonomy are given, we’re a high-growth startup.

About Us & More

  • Crazy ambitious mission: we’re reinventing how we should think about pregnancy and infant wellness, leveraging all the exciting research in the early-life microbiome space. This is an opportunity to have a trajectory-altering impact on humanity
  • Feels like family: we have a grown-up, thoughtful culture but we love having a playful side and a sense of humor
  • ‍Lots of room to experiment, iterate, and build: we have a huge vision and you’ll have the opportunity to grow rapidly and influence the strategic direction of the company (and we have 2+ years of runway to make that happen)
  • Transparent culture: we do the right thing: by the team, users, stakeholders. When you have complete trust in your teammates, you can be much more open and move faster 😉

Interview Process

  • You’ll meet with our CEO to get to know a little bit about who she is, why she started the company, and what the short and long term vision of the company is.
  • Next, you’ll meet with a technical advisor to go through a technical interview.
  • You’ll also meet with the tech and product team where you’ll get to see what we’ve built so far and get to know your potential teammates.
  • We will ask you about your work dev experience and talk about React, ask you to build a page in React, and just talk through how you’re handling state and a chance to show off some of those front-end skills!
  • No DS and Algos! Not going to waste your time as they aren’t needed for this role. If you are a wizard at reversing a linked list that’s great, we just need beautiful React components that render quickly and don’t overload the database with API calls 🙂
