Hello Inside, a startup focused on improving metabolic health for women through continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology, has secured €1.65 million in seed funding. This funding round was led by Verge Fund, a healthtech venture capital firm, with additional support from DocMorris, Germany’s leading online pharmacy, and Kapa Ventures. Existing investors include Lea-Sophie Cramer (Amorelie), Martin Murray (Waterdrop), Eric Demuth (Bitpanda), as well as 10xFounders, Simon Capital, and Miele Ventures.
Scarlett Chen, the lead investor from Verge Fund, stated: “We see enormous potential in Hello Inside, not only in terms of market opportunity but also in the positive impact it can have on women’s health worldwide. The highly disciplined and performance-driven team has created one of the most engaging digital health apps globally. The unique combination of cutting-edge technology and the focus on women’s specific health needs aligns perfectly with our mission at Verge HealthTech Fund.”
Hello Inside’s platform integrates third-party continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) with AI technology to provide women with detailed insights into their metabolic health. By tracking and logging data related to food, movement, stress, and sleep, the platform enables users to make informed decisions about their health. The system is compatible with other health services such as the Oura Ring and Apple Health, offering a comprehensive approach to health tracking and behavior change.
The platform has shown strong initial results, with users averaging over 10 app opens per day and an 80% weight-goal success rate within 30 days. With the new funding, Hello Inside plans to further validate its engagement model through clinical studies and expand its offerings to include business-to-business services.
Mario Aichlseder, CEO of Hello Inside, commented: “Attention is the key to behavior change and positive health impact. By pairing this with the power of AI and the knowledge of our medical experts, we can offer women a profound understanding of their metabolic health. Our technology is not just about tracking data, but about providing actionable insights that lead to meaningful changes in health and wellness.”
