Etalon, a U.S.-based posture wellness brand, has secured a U.S. patent for its posture-correcting bra, adding to its FDA registration and San Francisco Design Award in the FashTech category.

The patent addresses a significant need, as up to 90% of people experience back pain at least once in their lifetime, with women being more susceptible due to pregnancies, pelvic structural differences, and hormone levels.

“This patent represents years of hard work and a dedication to creating products that support – not correct – our bodies,” said Kristina Rudzinskaya, founder of Etalon. “We believe everyone is naturally beautiful, and our aim is to provide gentle support that enhances confidence and well-being, allowing women to feel their best without compromising on comfort.”

The patented design features an adjustable strap system for gradual corrective tension control, muscle memory training functionality, and versatility as both standalone wear or under regular clothing. The bra is designed to be inclusive of different body shapes and sizes, particularly accommodating larger breasts.

Beyond traditional posture solutions, Etalon emphasizes a gentler approach to alignment and plans to expand its patented design into new products.
