Aspen Pharmacare

South Africa-based Aspen Pharmacare has agreed to  sell the commercialization rights and intellectual property of its European women’s health business to pharmaceutical and medical device company Ennogen for $220 million.

Through the deal, Ennogen will acquire the supply and manufacturing rights for Ovestin, an estriol-based menopause hormone therapy used to treat menopause-related symptoms, along with approximately $4.4 million in existing inventory.
