Denmark-based Lapee has secured €800K in funding for its pink urinals designed for women and gender non-conforming people. The funding round was led by Best Nights VC, the investment arm of Jägermeister. The company is also launching an equity crowdfunding campaign on Republic. Lapee plans to use the money for European expansion and installations in stadiums, parks, and construction sites.

Founded in 2019 by Gina Périer, Lapee makes portable urinals for festivals and public spaces. The product has gained viral attention on TikTok with over 90 million views in the past year. The startup addresses the lack of suitable bathroom facilities for women in public spaces and male-dominated workplaces. The crowdfunding campaign allows users to become co-owners of the company.
