Two underdiagnosed, underfunded, and often misunderstood conditions - lipedema and lymphedema - emerged as new points of interest.
- Lipocheck’s raise earlier this year and Cacto Health’s April round both signal growing interest in post-cancer survivorship care and fat/muscle disorders that disproportionately affect women.
- These startups are developing non-invasive, home-based diagnostic tools - an area increasingly attractive to investors in a cost-conscious, consumer-first environment.
