Founded by Ida Tin, Clue is a VC-­backed startup based in Berlin helping over 14 million people each month get insights into their reproductive health via our Android and iOS apps. We collaborate with world-leading universities and institutes to advance female health research with our dataset, and deliver essential education about health, periods, and sex via our website, helloclue.com.

As a Senior System Administrator at Clue, you will be responsible for the administration of all of our internal IT infrastructure, including network, online services like G Suite, Jira, Confluence and devices like company laptops and phones. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and work closely with our HR department, our Ops chapter and our engineering leads. For IT Admin tasks, you’ll be supported by an external provider, quite autonomously managing that relation.

ROLE

  • Identify and manage projects to continuously improve Clue’s SysAdmin concerns such as
    • Identity Access Management
    • Mobile Device Management
    • IT Service desk needs (with external support)
  • Manage projects to continuously improve our internal network structure
    • Set up firewalls, VPNs, routing and network services following a strong security policy
  • Secure IT infrastructure and take part in audits when required
  • Analyze, resolve and document IT and security incidents in collaboration with product and engineering
  • Manage employee user accounts and their permissions across a range of internal services, software and tools; ideally automating things where possible

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong background in designing, implementing and operating internal company networks
  • Experience working in system administration or DevOps roles
  • Ability to adequately secure IT infrastructure
  • Problem solver who loves to find the best solutions, following a “user-needs” approach
  • Excellent communication skills in English

ADVANTAGES

  • Helpdesk experience is a plus
  • Experience in audits by data authorities is a plus
  • Speaking German is a strong plus
