#WomensHealth tech company developing DotEndo, a breakthrough blood test that aids in the diagnosis of active #endometriosis

DotLab is a personalized medicine company focused on women’s health and is starting with the development of a cutting-edge molecular diagnostic test for endometriosis. Ten percent of women of child-bearing age suffer from this debilitating disease, which takes an average of a decade to diagnose. We’re looking to change that.
We’re hiring a Medical Science Liaison to reimagine the experience of physicians and patients addressing endometriosis. While much of the approach to endometriosis is marred by complexity and misinformation, we’re looking for someone who is excited to significantly improve the journey and make a lasting impact in women’s health. The ideal candidate is excited to develop a broad network of relationships and educate healthcare providers about scientific advances in diagnostics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, establish, and grow strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Communicate scientific and clinical study data to reinforce the effectiveness and clinical utility of DotLab’s tests and support product adoption, payer uptake, and expanded use
  • In partnership with the commercial team, establish and oversee speakers’ bureaus, advisory boards, and other outward-facing stakeholder activities
  • Function as the primary clinical resource for DotLab’s products, answering clinical support questions from healthcare professionals
  • Promote the science around endometriosis and support company initiatives at clinical and scientific meetings
  • With the CMO and other internal leaders, develop and execute on publication strategy
  • Communicate feedback from product users, define unmet needs, and help shape product launch plans
REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge and experience in diagnostics or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to drive stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience in developing strong, collaborative relationships with clinicians
  • Experience in communicating complex medical information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially oral presentation skills
  • PhD is a plus
  • Preference for candidates located in SF Bay Area or NYC, though role can be largely remote in light of COVID-19
  • As COVID-19 risk abates, ability to travel up to 75%
