Director of FP&A

We are looking for a Director of FP&A to join our global finance team. This job will initially have a remote start and will ultimately be based in our San Francisco office. FP&A at Oura is a highly important, highly visible function responsible for delivering mission-critical analytics and insights to leadership and key stakeholders. The FP&A team at Oura leads the development of the overall budget, forecast and mid- to long-range planning and additionally assists with in-depth strategic analysis to support company decision-making. The team utilizes analytical thinking to continually design and improve on data, information flow and methodologies needed to support company decision-making. We are looking for someone to take a leadership role in the build-out of this team and function.

What you will do:

• Lead the management of key financial processes such as forecasting, budgeting, and internal performance and KPI reporting
• Author and deliver financial narratives and supporting analytics to support senior decision making on a regular and ad hoc basis
• Design and implement FP&A processes, adding structure to a growing FP&A function and inviting cross-organizational input
• Collaborate with business leadership across the organization to develop KPIs and methodologies for tracking the individual performance of each business function
• Deliver regular and timely financial analysis, insights and relevant commentary to the finance leadership team, executive leadership team and board
• Lead the selection and implementation of forecasting and business intelligence systems and tools
• Grow Oura’s FP&A team in the future by identifying and hiring talented team members
