We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Tools Team. Tools team is a business-critical team that builds internal tools that help our employees in efficient technical troubleshooting, automatic problem detection and content creation for the app. We are passionate about providing the best insights for our customer service experts and our customers through our tools and empower them to own their potential.
The role can be based in Oulu or Helsinki.
What You will do:
- Be in direct contact with our customer experience / firmware experts and enjoy a fast feedback loop for the products you help create
- Build backend services in a modern cloud environment with Python, REST and SQL / NoSQL
- Create data processing pipelines to support growing automation needs
- Work closely with Data Scientists to create automation tools powered by statistical algorithms or machine learning models
- Create tools for handling sensitive user data in secure manner
What You will bring to the team:
- Experience creating and working with data processing pipelines in modern cloud environments.
- Proficiency working with SQL or NoSQL databases and potential to take your skills large scale.
- Experience working with several AWS services and a focus for building the backend services
- Solid backend coding skills with python, and knowledge of data science tooling such as Jupyter & pandas
- A vision to automate technical troubleshooting and problem detection for our customers.
