Founded by Van Spina and reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Paul Magarelli, The American Baby Company is betting affordability can expand access. The startup offers IVF for $8,995 and egg freezing for $4,995—includingmedication—while using AI-assisted intake, standardized clinical protocols, and modern lab workflows to reduce operating costs. Care is delivered by generalist clinicians under the supervision of fertility specialists, increasing capacity without sacrificing oversight.
The low-cost program is built for women under 35 with regular menstrual cycles and healthy ovarian reserve, referring patients with more complex fertility needs to specialists at no additional cost.
The company plans to enter additional markets, with a long-term goal of helping 250,000 patients annually over the next 10 years.
