Mila, a female-founded intimate wellness brand, has closed an oversubscribed $2.5 million pre-seed round led by Mensch VC with participation from Sticker Ventures and angel investors from Spotify, Dyson, Tetra Pak, and BrewDog.

The Miami-based company is applying a skincare-inspired approach to intimate wellness, arguing that while beauty brands have turned every part of the body into a ritual, the intimate care category has seen little meaningful innovation since suction technology arrived over 15 years ago. Mila’s growing portfolio includes Aura, a patent-pending 4-in-1 intimate wellness device, and Bloom, a hydrating intimate gliding mist.

“We saw an opportunity to build for a generation of consumers who have turned self-care into a lifestyle and finally give the category its beauty era,” said co-founder Ada Trujillo.

“The response from investors reinforced what we’ve believed from day one – women are ready for a more modern approach to intimate wellness,” added co-founder Kim Aviv.
