Just Women’s Sports (JWS), the women’s sports media company founded by Haley Rosen, has closed a new seven-figure investment round led by Bolt Ventures, the family office of sports investor David Blitzer. Every investor in the round is a returning backer, including Starry Eyed Tomorrow (the family office of Gotham FC part-owners Bobby and HyeMi Cho), Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, Blue Pool Capital, and OVO Fund.

The funding will support expanding JWS’s news and content operation, growing its team, investing in athlete-led programming, and scaling its events business – which includes an annual NWSL championship party and fan-facing activations like last year’s WNBA All-Star event that drew roughly 600 fans in a single day.

JWS is an official media partner of the NWSL and a new media partner of the WNBA, producing shoulder programming and social content around both leagues.

“Fans and brands are excited about the in-real-life element of this, so it’s become very important to us to get really good at being in real life,” said Rosen.

The all-returning investor base signals that capital flowing into women’s sports media is moving from exploratory to conviction-driven – and the broader surge in women’s sports viewership and investment continues to create infrastructure opportunities adjacent to the women’s health and wellness ecosystem.
