Previvor Edge, the preventive cancer care company that raised $3.3 million in a pre-seed round last fall, has expanded its clinical platform to deliver personalized cancer risk profiles and interactive prevention plans during a single visit – a process that previously required multiple appointments and a written report.

The expansion enables Previvor Edge clinicians to rapidly synthesize genetic, medical, family history, and lifestyle risk data into a structured Cancer Risk Profile identifying elevated risks across multiple cancer types, a personalized prevention and early detection action plan, and an interactive digital care plan that can be shared with the patient’s broader care team.

“This expansion allows us to deliver deeper insights to patients while maintaining the clinical expertise that is essential in cancer prevention,” said co-founder and CEO Michelle Zimmerman. “We’re evaluating risk across many cancer types and translating that information into a clear, personalized plan that patients and their broader care team can act on.”

The platform is powered by a proprietary AI data engine that is continuously refined by clinical guidelines, published research, and insights from Previvor Edge’s clinical team and Clinical Advisory Board (chaired by Dr. William Oh, Director of Precision Medicine at Yale Cancer Center). Patients complete a brief online assessment before their appointment, and their clinician reviews the full risk profile, orders genetic and other testing as appropriate, and adjusts recommendations during the visit. Results from subsequent testing – including genetic findings – are incorporated into the digital care plan and discussed with a genetic counselor where relevant.

As we noted in our previous coverage, while Previvor Edge serves all genders, women are expected to drive early adoption – breast cancer screening is a key entry point, and the program integrates factors often assessed in isolation, including medical and family history, genetics, the Tyrer-Cuzick clinical risk score, lifestyle factors, and breast density. For younger women considering fertility, the program also addresses the connection between certain genetic mutations and reduced ovarian reserve.

Previvor Edge is in-network with Aetna, United, and Cigna.
