Daye has launched a comprehensive at-home hormone testing service using what it describes as pain-free blood collection technology in the UK. The service addresses conditions including PCOS, thyroid disorders, and fertility concerns through upper arm blood collection rather than traditional finger-prick methods.

The platform offers two testing panels analyzed at UKAS accredited laboratories, with results and clinician reports delivered within 3-5 days. The Basic Hormone Panel costs £129 and includes 11 biomarkers covering reproductive hormones, thyroid function, and nutrients. The Advanced Fertility Panel costs £189 and adds Anti-Müllerian Hormone testing for ovarian reserve assessment.

Daye uses Tasso‘s CE-marked upper arm blood collection device similar to a continuous glucose monitor. The device adheres to the upper arm and allows patients to collect blood samples at home without the discomfort associated with finger-prick testing.

“At Daye, we are building the tools for truly healthy women. Our lives are fundamentally different from those of our grandmothers, yet we are stuck with outdated health management practices,” said Valentina Milanova, CEO of Daye. “Modern lifestyle factors – from chronic stress to forever chemicals and sedentary work – have created hormonal profiles that look drastically different from what we saw even 50 years ago.”

The service targets significant undiagnosed conditions in the UK market. Approximately one in 10 women are affected by PCOS, with up to 70% of cases believed to be undiagnosed. Diagnostic delays for PCOS average 7-12 years, while endometriosis impacts one in 10 women of reproductive age.

Beyond testing, Daye provides personalized support including consultations with nurses and nutritionists, plus lifestyle and mental health support based on results. The testing panels include vitamin D and ferritin levels, which the company describes as often-overlooked nutrients essential for reproductive health.

“We are democratizing access to comprehensive hormonal health insights,” said Kalina Mihaylova, Director of Medical Innovation at Daye. “Previously, getting a full hormonal profile required multiple GP visits and long wait times. Now, women can access laboratory-grade testing from the comfort of their living room.”

The launch builds Daye’s existing medical database, which includes over 7,800 vaginal microbiome profiles and 3,500 pelvic pain profiles. The addition of hormonal data positions the company to build what it describes as one of the UK’s most comprehensive gynecological health datasets.

The service is available across the UK, with plans for expansion into the US and Ireland in early 2026. Daye previously gained recognition for its Diagnostic Tampon, which was named Invention of the Year by TIME Magazine in 2024.
