Herself Health has launched the Women Growing Bolder Health Alliance, a curated provider network designed to improve healthcare access and coordination for women. The Minneapolis-based company, which provides comprehensive primary care to women aged 60 and older, aims to simplify the care journey by connecting patients to trusted providers across multiple disciplines.

The alliance brings together independent practices that collaborate to deliver unified care, addressing fragmentation that often affects women navigating complex health needs later in life. Launched in May, the network began with a focus on the Twin Cities market and includes inaugural partners Summit Orthopedics, RAYUS Radiology, MNGI Digestive Health, and Premier Women’s Health of Minnesota.

“Our goal is to create a seamless experience for women by collaborating with top providers who work hand-in-hand with our teams to align care plans, close gaps, and provide support that evolves with women’s lives and needs,” said Dr. Deb Dittberner, chief clinical officer and head of population health at Herself Health.

The alliance partners were selected for clinical excellence, patient-centered approaches, and shared commitment to advancing women’s health. The network operates within Herself Health’s value-based care model, focusing on conditions that disproportionately affect women including arthritis, Alzheimer’s, and osteoporosis.

“For many of our patients, what matters most is feeling seen, heard, and supported throughout their care journey,” said Dr. Tammy Chiesa, internal medicine physician at Summit Orthopedics. “Being part of a shared care model allows us to offer our clinical expertise, and the continuity, transparency, and warmth that every patient deserves.”

Alliance members actively engage in cross-organizational education to strengthen team knowledge on women’s health conditions. RAYUS Radiology recently led a session on breast cancer screening, while the network explores co-location opportunities and community-based service delivery.

“This partnership provides easier access to screening and diagnostic breast imaging services for older women,” said Dr. Trisha R. Prescott, board-certified radiologist and breast imaging specialist at RAYUS Radiology. “Early detection is critical. It saves lives by identifying cancer before it spreads.”

The alliance plans to expand into additional specialties including cardiology and oncology to ensure broader coverage across high-priority care areas. The network addresses challenges women face in accessing coordinated care, particularly as health needs become more complex with age.

Herself Health operates with a holistic approach that assesses patients’ complete health and wellness profiles, including mental, sexual, and spiritual health, social wellness, and quality of life factors. The company’s value-based model focuses on enhancing health outcomes while managing overall care costs.

The alliance represents a growing trend toward coordinated care networks specifically designed for women’s health needs, addressing gaps in traditional healthcare delivery that often leave women navigating fragmented systems independently.
