Superlativa, a Spain-based wellness company developing plant-based supplements for women’s stress management, has secured seed funding led by Iris Ventures. The investment amount was undisclosed.
The company specializes in natural, drug-free supplements designed to regulate cortisol levels and manage stress in women. Their products leverage ingredients traditionally used in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, including ashwagandha, schisandra, and bacopa, all carefully selected for their stress-reducing properties.
Founded by Teresa Pueyo, a mother of three young boys, Superlativa was inspired by her experience with wellness and plant-based treatments during her time as an investor in Singapore. The company has already established a strong presence in Spain, with its products available in over 400 pharmacies.
What sets Superlativa apart is its commitment to scientific validation. The company’s products have undergone extensive research and been validated through multiple clinical studies, ensuring their effectiveness and safety.
The fresh capital will fuel Superlativa’s research and development efforts, with plans for international expansion over the next two to three years. “This investment not only provides us with the resources to grow but also a strategic partner that understands our goals and shares our commitment to enhancing well-being for women through natural solutions,” said Pueyo as she reflects on the company’s next growth phase.
