Hello Cake, a sexual wellness brand dedicated to helping couples reconnect in the bedroom, has expanded its telehealth offerings with the introduction of Libido Lift Rx. This new custom-compounded medication is specifically designed to help women address the most common symptoms of Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD).
“With this launch, women are now able to consult with a doctor, receive personalized guidance on sexual health medication, and receive treatment at an affordable price point. This level of accessibility hasn’t been an option before,” said Dr. Paige Kuhlmann, a women’s Urology Specialist and Senior Medical Advisor at Hello Cake.
Libido Lift Rx is an oral medication formulated to treat both the mental and physical symptoms of FSD. This 3-in-1 formula addresses low libido, sensitivity and sensation issues, lubrication problems, and discomfort caused by insufficient arousal. The medication begins to take effect in 30 minutes and lasts up to 24 hours. The active ingredients in Libido Lift Rx include Oxytocin, a hormone often referred to as “the cuddle drug”; Tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor that promotes blood flow; and L-Citrulline, a Nitric Oxide-boosting amino acid that enhances libido and blood flow.
“One of the most common phrases we hear women say is, ‘I just can’t get in the mood.’ Libido Lift Rx helps combat low libido with a unique blend of ingredients that aren’t available over-the-counter,” said Dr. Kuhlmann. “With this launch, women are now able to consult with a doctor, receive personalized guidance on sexual health medication, and receive treatment at an affordable price point. This level of accessibility hasn’t been an option before.”
Early studies on Female Sexual Dysfunction suggest it may affect 43% of women in the United States. A Hello Cake survey of 50,000 women revealed that 7-in-10 respondents reported needing help getting in the mood.
“When you think about the amount of time, attention, and money being poured into treating erectile dysfunction for men while FSD has largely gone overlooked, it’s not right,” said Mitchell Orkis, Co-Founder and CMO of Hello Cake. “We were in the position to help bring together some of the leading doctors, pharmacists, and technologists in the business to create an accessible solution for women across the U.S. for the first time. Of course we had to do that.”
