In September last year FemHealth Founders and StitchCrew announced that they were teaming up to launch a new accelerator program focused exclusively on women’s health and wellness. FemHealth Founders (FHF) is an innovation hub that empowers female founders to build and lead profitable, women-centric companies that are offering solutions to women’s health-related issues. StitchCrew is an organization building a more equitable economy through entrepreneurship. The two US-based organizations have now announced the five startups, that have been accepted into the inaugural cohort of their FemHealth Accelerator program.
Natalie Shew, Co-Founder of FemHealth Founders, shares: “The founders in this cohort are building companies that will change the face of women’s health care via better access, improved outcomes, lower costs, and higher transparency. These innovations will make an acute difference across gynecology, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and trauma-informed care.”
Participants include:
- Bunnii helps people complete their fertility journey with a personal health record and care navigation platform. Co-founded by Meredith Brunette, Bunnii is headquartered in New York City.

Selected companies are participating in an eight week program, each receiving a $10,000 grant, mentorship and support from industry executives, investors and leaders in the women’s health space. At the end of the program, participants will meet more investors and stakeholders during a two-day retreat in Bentonville, AR.
Erika Lucas, Co-Founder of StitchCrew, adds: “The time to invest in Women’s Health is now. We are proud to collaborate with Femhealth Founders to get this program off the ground so we can support women entrepreneurs improving care options for women.”
FemHealth Accelerator was made possible in part by a grant from the Walton Family Foundation, along with other program sponsors which include Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, Bank of the West, Kirkpatrick Family Fund, Inasmuch Foundation, and United Healthcare.
