Peanut has integrated with Oura to launch Sleep Stretches, a feature that tracks sleep patterns for new mothers.

Sleep Stretches tracks the longest uninterrupted sleep periods throughout the night rather than measuring total nightly sleep. The feature provides insights on sleep patterns as babies develop and connects users to Peanut’s community for discussion and support.

According to Peanut’s data, 60% of new mothers felt unprepared for sleep changes in motherhood, and 55% described their sleep experience as worse than expected or debilitating. The integration aims to address postpartum sleep challenges by focusing on positive trends rather than sleep deficits.

“For years, women have told us that one of the hardest parts of new motherhood is the
exhaustion and the lack of tools that actually acknowledge it,” said Michelle Battersby, President
of Peanut. “Integrating with Oura allows us to bridge that gap finally. Sleep Stretches isn’t just
another data point; it’s reassurance, visibility, and proof that mothers matter and deserve to be
seen.”

The feature is part of Peanut Track, the platform’s pregnancy and motherhood companion tool. Peanut Track provides personalized guidance based on data from the platform’s 5 million member community collected over seven years.

Peanut is a social networking platform for women navigating pregnancy, motherhood, menopause, and fertility. The app allows users to connect with others, access community advice, and track health information.
