Twentyeight Health, a telehealth company providing affordable access and convenience for reproductive and sexual health, today announced that it will begin offering treatment for herpes.

“Since launching in 2018, women across the U.S. have relied on Twentyeight Health for birth control prescriptions and delivery. In the coming years, Twentyeight Health will be a bigger part of women’s sexual and reproductive care journies, providing telehealth resources and prescription delivery for a range of needs — from addressing STIs, to pre and post natal services”, added Bruno Van Tuykom, co-founder of Twentyeight Health, “Millions of people in the U.S. are living with genital herpes, and receiving care can be expensive or inconvenient. With today’s announcement, our hope is to significantly increase access to herpes treatment.”

During a telehealth consultation for herpes treatment, Twentyeight Health doctors can support patients with existing herpes diagnoses and prescribe treatments to prevent or address outbreaks, which Twentyeight Health can deliver discreetly to the patients’ door.

In addition to herpes treatment, Twentyeight Health customers can access a range of birth control options (pill, patch, ring, shot, emergency contraception, internal condoms), prenatal vitamins, and COVID-19 tests. Twentyeight Health is currently available in more than 30 states, reaching more than 85% of women of reproductive age.
