Twentyeight Health, a telehealth company providing affordable access and convenience for reproductive and sexual health has acquired the platform of SimpleHealth, a digital reproductive care company. As a part of the transaction, Twentyeight Health will be providing the services previously performed by SimpleHealth, and will be addressing SimpleHealth’s users’ ongoing needs for reproductive and sexual health services.
Twentyeight Health recently announced the closing of a $8.3M pre-Series A round to fund its US expansion plans. The company’s mission is to provide access to affordable and convenient reproductive and sexual healthcare for individuals across the country, offering inclusive services in Spanish and English.
“Our focus first and foremost is on continuity of patient care,” said Amy Fan, co-founder of Twentyeight Health. “This transition will ensure that SimpleHealth’s tens of thousands of customers will continue to have convenient access to the critical healthcare services they depend on.”
This transaction will allow SimpleHealth’s patients to seamlessly access Twentyeight Health for telehealth services, medication delivery, and care coordination. “We chose Twentyeight Health because it has a mission and vision similar to ours; we believe Twentyeight Health’s leadership team has the core values which is a patient first mindset with available access to all.” said Carrie Siu Butt, CEO of SimpleHealth.
“Our vision is to provide accessible women’s healthcare to everyone in need, and with this transition, Twentyeight Health will be able to bring high quality, convenient care to even more individuals across the U.S.” said Bruno Van Tuykom, co-founder of Twentyeight Health.
