Stork Club Adds Doula Program

Stork Club, a family-building benefits solution, announced that its proprietary Birth Doula program is now available under commercial insurance coverage across the US. According to the company, Stork Club is the first provider in the US to offer managed birth doula care under employer-sponsored health plans. Given their commitment to cost-effective, evidence-based care, Stork Club also announced the results of the study,  currently under peer review in a leading academic journal, indicate that Stork Club doula care was associated with a 45% reduction in unnecessary c-sections and a 58% reduction in preterm births compared to national averages.

Cigna Covers Leva

Axena Health announced that Cigna, one of the largest healthcare insurance providers in the United States with approximately 15 million members, has added the Leva Pelvic Health System as a covered treatment for stress, urgency and mixed urinary incontinence (UI) in women. The Leva Pelvic Health System is a prescription digital therapeutic (PDT) that guides women through pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT), offering an easy, convenient way for women to treat UI and chronic fecal incontinence (FI) by strengthening their pelvic floor muscles.
