Cleveland-based Renalis has raised a $824K pre-seed round led by the Healthcare Collaboration Fund, which is managed through a partnership betweent JumpStart and University Hospitals Ventures.
Renalis is a digital health company that creates platforms to improve experiences and outcomes for people with pelvic health conditions. Designed to tackle the biggest challenges in pelvic health management, Renalis platforms increase patient engagement, improve adherence, decrease out-migration, saving providers valuable time and effort. The company’s first platform, a digital therapeutic called CeCe, is for persons assigned female at birth. The company’s long-term goal, however, is to optimize the pelvic health of all individuals throughout the life course.
The new funding will help the company amplify research, support regulatory efforts, product development and commercialization.
