Reproductive health company Proov has recently launched the Proov Path to Pregnancy, a new at-home fertility treatment program offering a less invasive and more affordable option compared to traditional in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Amy Beckley, CEO and Founder of Proov, was inspired to create this program based on her personal challenges with infertility, aiming to provide easier access to effective fertility solutions.
“In my journey through infertility, I discovered a gap in accessible and effective fertility solutions. This realization was the catalyst for Proov. We’re not just about tracking the fertile window; we’re about uncovering and addressing the underlying issues that can make conceiving more challenging,” Beckley shares. “The Proov Path to Pregnancy program was born from a desire to extend our mission of helping individuals conceive in a way that’s both faster and more cost-effective. It’s about providing a first step that’s accessible before jumping into more invasive and costly treatments.”
Proov’s approach to breaking down financial barriers in fertility treatments is evident in its pricing. The Silver and Gold packages, priced at $399 and $499, respectively, are designed to be cost-effective, with eligibility for FSA and HSA reimbursement. Beckley emphasizes the impact of this approach: “Since 2016, we’ve been committed to empowering women with affordable fertility diagnostics. Our program is priced at a fraction of the cost of IVF, which can be upwards of $15,000 per cycle, and has shown to reduce the need for such expensive treatments in about 30% of couples.”
The comprehensive nature of the Proov Path to Pregnancy sets it apart from other fertility treatments. Beckley elaborates on the program’s structure: “Developed with expertise, our science-based, non-invasive plan spans three months, guiding participants through their conception cycle, balancing hormones, and optimizing treatment with medication. We provide testing, guidance, treatment, and support, starting with an assessment using the Proov Complete kit. Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh, our medical advisor, then offers personalized advice and prescriptions based on individual results.”
The program ensures a personalized treatment experience, leveraging hormone tracking across the entire cycle for tailored support. “Participants track up to 54 hormones in the Proov app, which Dr. Aimee analyzes to diagnose any hormone imbalances or ovulation issues. This allows us to provide the most effective prescription support for each individual, creating a low-cost path to pregnancy,” Beckley explains.
Looking to the future, Beckley is now focused on expanding Proov’s offerings to meet the evolving needs of those seeking fertility treatments. “Our vision is to provide immediate answers and support, not after months or years of trying, but as soon as someone decides they’re ready to conceive. We’re expanding our services to include at-home insemination and blood testing kits, offering more comprehensive support throughout the fertility journey. Our commitment is to educate, empower, and provide direct access to world-class fertility treatments.”
