In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the maternity care landscape, Pacify, a maternity care solutions provider, has announced its acquisition of Major Care, a douola-led maternal wellness company. Both Pacify and Major Care share a dedication to providing maternity care services facilitated by doulas and empowered by technology. By joining forces, the aim is to elevate the accessibility and quality of care for expectant and new mothers and birthing people across the United States.

“We are thrilled to welcome Major Care into the Pacify family as we continue our mission of empowering parents through their maternity journey,” said Jennifer Sargent, CEO of Pacify. “Our focus on delivering compassionate doula-led support, combined with innovative technology, remains steadfast. This acquisition marks a significant advancement in our efforts to offer comprehensive, personalized care to families during this transformative time.”

One of the primary objectives of this collaboration is the expansion of Pacify’s doula network. By leveraging the strengths of both companies, Pacify aims to broaden its doula-led support services, providing expectant and new parents access to a wider network of experienced professionals dedicated to offering compassionate care and guidance. As part of the acquisition, Mandy Major, Founder and CEO of Major Care, will assume the role of Chief Experience Officer at Pacify.

“Pacify’s commitment to enhancing access to equitable and inclusive maternity support perfectly aligns with Major Care’s mission,” commented Mandy Major. “Together, we have an incredible opportunity to provide families with the resources and continuous support they need to navigate the journey of parenthood. Additionally, our partnership will advance the thoughtful integration of doula care within healthcare systems across the U.S.”
