Role Description

This role is primarily responsible for driving global merchandising strategies; advocating for the product assortment and our customer interests across all decision points.  This person will lead our assortment planning process to ensure commercially viable product design and development. The goal of this hire is to create an omni-channel product portfolio that ensures audience growth and profitability.

The Work You’ll Do: 

  • Creates a strong assortment architecture anchored in the expansion of our lower price point products; meeting the needs of both DTC and retail customers
  • Analyzes market dynamics, market share changes, product line performance, CX feedback and trends to identify product opportunities / white space
  • Partners with Design and Product Development teams to ensure designs support customer and business needs while remaining innovative
  • Partners with MP on inventory management on seasonal investment strategy to ensure big ideas and growth divers are protected
  • Consolidates hind-sighting/testing to ensure a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensures product and marketing planning projects reflects assortment architecture

This role is a key functional leader for the Growth team and reports directly to the VP, Strategy

  • You love measuring impact and managing ambitious goals. You’re effective at setting clear goals and measuring the impact of initiatives


  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience, with 3 years of manager experience
  • Has extensive experience in the vertical retail environment and background in women’s apparel
  • Lead merchandising for the brick + mortar and digital channels
  • Is a customer-centric merchant with a deep passion for product and consumer trends
  • Knows how to navigate large, complex organization while moving quickly and driving decisions
  • Worked closely with Production team to ensure that sourcing strategies are cost-effective
  • Thinks creatively, conceptually and strategically to driver results
  • Genuinely cares about growing people and business simultaneously
