Role: Fund Operations Analyst
Salary Range: $85,000 – $100,000 + Full benefits package
About RH Capital: RH Capital, a Rhia Ventures fund, invests in early-stage start-ups that promise to revolutionize women’s health and improve health equity in the US. While the primary focus areas are contraception and maternal health, we also look at other high-impact and underinvested areas such as endometriosis, pelvic health, menopause and more. We invest across all segments including the life sciences (diagnostics, devices, therapeutics), digital health, health services, and consumer products.
To date, we have invested in 15 companies and recently closed Fund II, with over $40M total assets under management.
Role and responsibilities: This role comprises the full spectrum of day-to-day fund operations and offers significant learning opportunities in all aspects of running a fund. You will play a critical role in enabling the fund’s core activities while working side by side with the investing team.
We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is excited to support multiple areas core to the fund:
Fund administration and finance: Support fund administration (via Carta) and assist with financial reporting, budgeting, annual audit and other finance and tax activities (e.g. portfolio tracking).
Internal operations: Support internal infrastructure including HR, IT, compliance, vendor management and internal systems (e.g. stakeholder database, investment database, portfolio model, fundraising CRM).
Investor relations: Support current and future LP management including reporting, newsletters, events and other forms of engagement.
Content creation: Lead content creation for internal (e.g. board) and external audiences via newsletters, slides and other materials. Support graphic design for internal materials such as investment memos.
Communications: Execute on a broader communications strategy, including social media management, event planning (for portfolio companies and broader ecosystem) and newsletters.
Note – this is not a traditional investing role, but there may be opportunities to engage in investing related activities such as deal flow management or due diligence.
Qualifications
Interest in women’s health and innovation
3+ years of experience in operations within an investment firm (ideally VC)
Self-starter who is proactive and shows initiative
Strong detail-orientation and organizational skills
Exceptional administrative, communications (oral and written) and graphic design skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and G-Suite tools
Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build
Bay Area or Boston resident preferred; willing to co-locate with the team in a hybrid work environment
Willingness to travel up to 10% (usually predictable)
Bachelor’s degree preferred
